Prominent figures from the music industry are coming from all over the UK to take part in Hull’s first ever music industry conference.
The two-day event on Thursday 3 and Friday 4 August will see professionals including artists, technicians and producers discussing what it means to be part of the music industry in 2017.
The keynote speaker will be Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic.
From Hull originally, he is now one of the most prominent people in the industry when it comes to organising festivals both in the UK and abroad.
Benn has had an illustrious career becoming one of the most successful people in live music and promotion worldwide. Melvin will be in the hot seat at 53 Degrees North for a rare interview back in his home town.
